Hi Guys
A little intro from me if I may ,we have been Landrover owners for the last 20 years or more.
However as I self maintained and now getting on a little and to be honest don’t have time to do this we are about to part ex the Disco 3 been which has been fantastic.
The only car we like is the XF sportbrake, fishing and 3 dogs when we go away with the caravan dictate the need for an estate.
I have read on the net that there may be issues with the electrical system post tow bar fit .
question is do they come tow bar ready as in a multi plug somewhere to plug the tow electrics into or is it a splice the wire job .
will post a pic when we swap,it will be the 2.2 version we intended to seek.
thanks
phil

Welcome to the forums Phil,

Modern Jaguars have sensitive electronics so I can well believe they could be temperamental with aftermarket towbar electrics. If you are looking for a pre-2015, ask the question in X250 forum. If you are considering the current XF Sportbrake, ask in the X260 forum.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome to the Forums.

Modern cars, any brand, are not tow bar friendly that I get told so often.

Good luck.
