Hi My name is Shane and my partner is Fleur. We live in Invercargill, New Zealand. We own a 97 Daimler Double Six. We brought it in 2013. The car has a last of the Line Plaque signed by Nick Scheele. Love the car. We are in the Southland Jaguar Drivers Club. We just had the 2018 NZ Jaguar Rally in our hometown. 250 Jaguars. Over 500 people attended the rally though out NZ and Australia. And the Judge was John Butterworth from the UK. The car won 2 Trophies.

Welcome to the forum Shane,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. That was a great tunout for the rally.

I know you've already found your way to the X305 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The X300 forum will also be useful for most things other than the engine. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome.

That is the LAST of the REAL Jag/Daimler cars.

Well done.

Certainly a keeper.

Default Daimler V12

I wrote to the Jaguar Heritage to know more about our car and they wrote back saying (We do not have the full history for this vehicle but can confirm that the plaque was issued in Japan by the dealership (not by the manufacturer) for approximately 20-30 of these cars.)
And this is all we know about our car.

Hi Shane, welcome to the forum, I have a strong suspicion we were at the same table for the formal dinner along with Jeremy and Thue and their two children.
