New member - old Jaguars
Hi all,
As seems tradition with any forum a brief introduction is required.
I am David based in the UK (Cheshire) and have owned Jaguars for over 25 years and an XJS was my first car after passing my driving test.
I own a pre HE and a HE and I love them now as much as I did when I bought them.
I also own an XJ8 but this died this week and is being taken to the scrapyard tomorrow. Boo!! I would love to fix it but the ECU has failed and Jaguar are quoting £2800 plus VAT for a replacement.
As I work in London I don't really drive my cars that much so will probably wait a while until I buy another daily driver.
As a hobby I love to draw and Jaguars are my favourite subject. If you own a copy of the book Golden Boy about F1 champion Mike Hawthorn you will have seen some of my work in there.
Regards
David Cleary
