Hi All,
Just a quickie as per the "right of passage" all members need to do - a BIG hello from Perth, Western Australia.
Car: 1998 Jag XK8 with 100,,000 miles on the clock/ blue with cream interior. My wife and I bought this car instead of renting when we visited the UK earlier this year. We loved it so much we decided to import it back home to Australia!
Cheers,
James

Hello, James,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar XK8!
I would never have thought of simply Buying a car when on a trip like that, and taking it home with me.
But I've never seen a car on a trip that I wanted to take home with me either.
If you haven't already found your way there, someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can find help and advice if you need it, or just hang out with other XK8 owners.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forums James,
That's some souvenir!
I know you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Australia - Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...ia-western-96/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
