Hello,
My name is Peter Russo. I live in Seattle and have a 1963 Mk2, 3.8. I purchased it in the late 90's and in the early 2000's refurbished it a daily driver with the aid of Alan Gerard (who passed away last year). I stripped the entire car down to a shell and together we made a number of interesting modifications including installing an XJ6 rack, converting to negative ground, upgraded brakes, and replacing the worn transmission with a five speed Getrag. The car has successfully traveled up and down the west coast without incident. I am also a hobbyist furniture maker and my shop has expanded into the garage unfortunately forcing my Jag to be garaged away from the house. The net result is that I drive it much less and this is starting to take a toll on the car.

Hello, Peter,
From here it sounds like you got your priorities mixed up. Or at least they have changed. The Jag should be next to the house and your furniture hobby should be housed away from the house. But that's just my opinion, and it's worth about what you paid for it. LOL
