Hello Jaguar Forum Members,
I am the proud new owner of a 2001 XKR Silverstone convertible. I am a car enthusiast and have now added the Jaguar to my 2008 Z51 Corvette (six speed manual), 2013 Black Diamond Anniversary Ed. Avalanche, 2012 Chrysler 300s, and a 2003 Chevy Tracker ZR2 (5 speed manual) for the 4x4 beaches on Hatteras Island. I still ride my 2003 Harley Davidson Road King and 2001 Kawasaki KLR 250. But that activity has lessened in recent years. I most enjoy vehicles that provide an interaction and participation in the driving process so when available I opt for standard transmissions. I am a retired high school principal and university professor. Nowadays I try to spend my days golfing, boating, fishing, motoring and other outdoor activities with friends and family. I look forward to participating in some Jaguar/British car activities in the W. PA or tri-state area. This forum has been great for info and the XK8/XKR cars along with a ton of good reading on other models. Keep up the fine work!

Welcome to the forum jchapas,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link US Northeast - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
