Hi everyone!
Here's another Portuguese member, who, by the way, decided to join after an invitation by Migueldefender to help him on a Jaguar Webforum, a couple of years old, here in Portugal (jaguar-portugal.com).
I had been here some times, just visiting and taking some advice before purchasing my pride and joy, but never took the decision of joining.
I'm the proud owner of a 1971 Series 1 XJ6 Automatic, in the same colour as Sir William Lyons' Series 1 (Sable)
.
My Jag was imported to Geneva, Switzerland, then spent almost all of its life in the South of France (apparently, it was owned by a British couple who had a Summer house at the Côte D'Azur - Três chique...
) and finally it arrived at my door almost four years ago.
By the way, my nickname, "minijag" was chosen because of another passion of mine: diecast models. I collect Jaguars, of course, in every scale, although, recently, I've started buying other brands in 1/87 scale - mainly, lorries and classic cars.
Here are a couple of pictures of my Jaguar. Sorry about the poor quality of the images, as they have been resized with some loss of detail.
The pictures were taken by myself, as photography is also one of my recent hobbies, consuming almost all of my spare time.

(I now realise that I haven't got many pictures of my own car, beeing too busy with other people's cars...
)
And finally...
I had the great luck to have my car featured in a Portuguese Classic Car magazine:

Hello MiniJag and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.
Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules.
Be patient and enjoy the site.
