Hi guys,
I got a 2001 s type v6. (which is for sale), its my 13th Jag, from Mk1 and 2's through Xj series 1 2 and 3's then XJ40s and now an S type.
Ive been a techy since leaving school and now work testing engines for a company that tests for JLR, amongst others.
Love my Jags. Hope to read interesting things in here.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Welcome to JaguarForums where you will likely find the friendliest bunch of Jaguar fans you will find anywhere :-)
I see Graham has given you some pointers to get you started on here, so I won't go back over that again, instead I will comment on the UK & Eire section of JaguarForums. If you get the chance to have a browse please have a look in the UK & Eire area where you will find info on repairers and suppliers as recommended by the members theirselves, local info on meetings, and all sorts of UK specific info.
There are meetings throughout the year all around the UK, which are well worth attending which you will find listed there. These meetings are a great chance to put names to faces and cars, are often family orientated, and are free! The only costs being parking/food and sometimes entry but even those are usually negotiated down for the meets.
