welcome to the forum - as you will find - plenty of info and support here - check out the model specific forums - XJ6/XJ12 Series 1-3; XJ (X308) XJ8/XJR and the XK8/XKR - for how-to's, downloads, etc - enjoy.

The designation XJ6 covers many different models from 1968 to 1997. I think your 1991 XJ6 will be the XJ40 model?
If so, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj40-25/ to the XJ40 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
