Hi I have always loved jags but have finally reached an age where I decided it was time to get one I loved the look of . 1996 XJR supercharged - British Racing Green :-) Bought 10/1 - so have had for a few days - just put 4 tires on and once Massachusetts gets their sticker machines corrected - I hope to obtain my sticker . This car is smooth , everything works - fast and I am thrilled from the inside out. sadly tonight the drivers door decided not to let me out - won't open with key - from outside nor the inside handle . at age 65 its not easy climbing over console to get out . so I hope to learn as much as possible - thank God I have all the books .
I posted about the drivers door problem in another post. I hope I can get this resolved so I can Enjoy my Jag

Jaglady96, if you can't climb over center console, then climb through the window? Sorry, just kidding: Sound like your door linkage's came off both the out and inside handle, a trusty garage could do it easily, the dealer would cost more.
