Hi everyone! in am a fresh owner of 86 jaguar xj vanden plas. i live in Russia. Big fan of old jags since i was a kid and two similar red 3 series of some mobsters was parked in my neighbourhood. The time has come! i broght my jag in end of december 18.
it was in good condition with a very small amount of rust but was fuly resprayed (not very good actualy ) and after respray previous owner leave it for a decade in a garage almost fuly disasembled. so i just found this resours and looks like it has a lot infomation and lot of owner of such car. )

I apologize apparently misled, my car is light-brown or beige. i wish it was red but unfortunately i wasn't able to choose color, it's pretty rare car in Russia

things goes very slow. and a main reason is lack of spares and time to do somthing with a car. current state is this
full brakes revision new brake disks and pads new brake fluid lines and renovate brake calipers.
New fuel pump and lines. some small fix of front and rear suspesion.repaired exhaust system
now big fight with electical issues.
