Default New Member From Santa Rosa, Ca '10 XF 5L S/C

Hey guys just started messing with my 2010 jag xf 5L S/C recently, I want your feedback!!

One thing I must confess this "porcelain white" has me confused as to what to do when it color combinations, I would've loved an iceberg white color to do black on white scheme but I just feel like it wouldn't go with my shade of white.. :/ rim size is another question.. I'd love to max it out at 21x11 rear and 20x9 front staggered wheels. Spacers?? Whoa.. anyways I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you guys and you might from me.

Some Progress:

I love the way the Mina exhaust looks and sounds, rear end just needs the diffuser (preferably two piece with carbon fiber lower ribbed valance from 2012 xfr for about $400 at dealership) or a one piece all carbon fiber that's available @ aliexpress for $550.. I want to sandwich the colors like the 2016 mustang (white bumper, black upper valance & white lower ribbed valance) as I've never seen it on any XF, but then again... I don't think porcelain would look good on black.

<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=3g95s" target="_blank"><img src="http://i64.tinypic.com/3g95s.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

I decided to paint my wheel caps lime green to practice for my calipers, and I like the way it turned out.

<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=hx0z1v" target="_blank"><img src="http://i66.tinypic.com/hx0z1v.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=huin2d" target="_blank"><img src="http://i67.tinypic.com/huin2d.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

The R vinyl sticker came out smaller than advertised.. I want to refurbish my rims and probably paint them the same silver or match the white paint.

Started hand painting engine cover I was thinking white on green??

Welcome to the forum, glad to hear you're already decided on making improvements on your Jag! You did the amazing job, that looks like a professional paint job, the wheels look fantastic!

Good luck with all the future upgrades, any plans on what your next mod will be?

Welcome to the forum loco4myjag,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

That's taken a lot of patient work to apply the new paint detail.

I can see you've already found your way to the X250 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/

Enjoy the forums.

Thanks! I'm thinking on doing the rear ribbed diffuser next but I'm having a hard time deciding if I should do all carbon fiber one piece ($550) or retrofit a 2012 xfr 2pc ($375)?? I don't know what the weight difference would be nor if I'd like the lower ribbed valance porcelain white with upper valance left alone (if c/f), or all white. Everyone seems to paint upper valance to match their paint with the bottom c/f or black.
