New member saying hello, 1974 XJ12L

I just bought a 1974 xj12l four weeks ago. I'll be up front and say it's no longer a V12. From the receipts that came with it someone spend some money on it in the early 90's. They paid someone to do the old style ( 4 bolt valve cover ) small block chev & turbo 350 auto. They did a pretty good at it too. Looks like a kit was used. It has a new interior and paint from about the same time. I'd say it's been a little neglected the last 10 years and not used much. I've had to fix all 4 power windows, wipers. trunk lock, and cosmetic stuff. I must say it's a nice riding car.

Most conversions such as yours and mine were done with kits. Back in the day I understand there was quite a thriving industry making these. Some were good, some were hack jobs. If you got a good one like I did, that's a Bonus!
