Default New member saying hello

Well hello all.

I bought my XKR 2002 4.0, Sapphire Blue, BBS 20" Montreal alloys in 2003 and have loved it since. It has only done 55K miles and if anything goes wrong with it I can usually find someone on here that has already been there first and solved the problems. EG Sweating Merc sump pan due to plug o-ring, warning light due to the cruise control micro switch issue. (Bought a new switch just never had the desire to get inabout due to access). Brembo disc/pad replacements. Weld repairing the exhaust rather than replace it with something worse but new.

Just after some advice on a job I jave on the go at the minute but I thin that won't happen for 3 days due to me being new. Lets see what happens next..

Angus

Welcome to the forums AngusJam,

I've moved your question about the window guide rail from the end of a very old Intro to a new thread in XK8/XKR forum. Here's the direct link to it:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...e-rail-226809/

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the main XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
