Hello all, new member here from England. I'm now on my 4th Jag, it's an 1997 XK8 coupe imported from Japan into the UK. Gold, or metallic topaz. Its rust free, and the paintwork is very good indeed. Time will tell if this car is good to me, already I have discovered I have 20' rims and the tyres are all about 19 years old. I'll have to get new tyres. Ah well. Look forward to sharing things with you guys, myself and the lady will make a bit of a hobby out of this XK, going to club fayres and the like. One bit of good news, the air con was blowing warm air, after re gassing its working fine, phew. When I get enough posts I'll down load the user manuals, mine are all in Japanese, as is the service history. Until later.

Hello,
Congratulations on your Latest Jaguar!
19 year old tires are totally unacceptable. My Jag came to me with 10 year old tires (I didn't think to look at date as they still had rubber whiskers) and within a month I *Shredded* one on a curve at speed. Good job you plan to get new one.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
