Smile New member in Scotland - 2002 Jaguar XK8 4.0

Hi everyone,

Just bought a 2002 4.0 XK8 Coupe with 49k on the clock. Absolutely loving it so far.

Has the headrest problem, but thanks to here, I seem to have already found a fix. Also not blowing cold, but will get pressure tested and dye job so I know where the leak is. Other than that, it's fantastic!

Look forward to learning all about them and catching up on here.

Cheers,

Fish.

Welcome to the forum Fish,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

With not blowing cold, there may not be a leak. According to Jaguar, the AC system loses around 5% refrigerant per year so it could only need a recharge.

It sounds like you probably already know your way around here but if not, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/

Enjoy the forums.

Many thanks all.

Steve,

I used to live down in Crawley for a while, played rugby for St. Francis Saints - think they are still going strong.

Cheers again,

Fish.
