Hi

Just bought a Daimler V8 at the weekend. 1998 model and seemingly in good condition. Have had a few runs out in her, and no issues to report........as yet.

No doubt I will be using this forum in the coming months.

Thanks

Bollotti

Welcome Bollotti,

Looks like the right side of Hadrian's Wall to me.

Check the XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section for advice and information on your Daimler.

I only recently moved from the Scottish side to the English side, so force of habit saying Scottish Borders. However I am only a stones throw away from the border.

Looking good.

Not many LWB X308's in the UK. I had a long search to find a black one and had to settle for a Jaguar.

Any pics of the interior? Daimlers always have a superb finish.

The extra legroom in the back makes all the difference.

I had a drive of a Super V8 Daimler when they first came out, and always wanted one.

If one of those came along at the right price, I think I would seriously consider buying it.

Superb.

The Jaguar is the same extra legroom but the rear bench seat just doesn't compare with the Daimler individual seats.

I do prefer the darker colours, I don't think I have seen a long wheelbase Jag, just thought they were for the Daimler.
