Hello All,
New to this Forum, Just a brief introduction and I will add to this thread in the very near future. Only ever had two Jag's in my family of the years, my dad used to own a XJ40 Sovereign 3.6 1988 model and now I have just bought a 1994 Daimler Six 4.0 SWB in Kingfisher Blue

I haven't had a chance to clean or detail the car yet but will get some more pics up once the weather improves, The Car has been well cared for and in general is in great condition, few minor jobs I will get around to but on the whole a lovely motor, I love the colour and I don't know if I have been informed correctly or not but this is the only SWB Daimler Six in Kingfisher Blue left on the UK roads.

Welcome to the forums Big Amar,
Good to have you with us. Your X300 looks to be a well cared for example and the Daimler variant was always the better choice with its superior trim.
I know you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

Hello All,
Sorry I have not posted for a while due to being busy with work commitments, I have slowly been making some progress on the Daimler Six. I thought I would start with the interior as Phase 1 of my improvements:
Fix the Audio System (Lights were on but no output from Radio/CD or Tape)
Due to this, I didn't know if the HK Amp or speakers were working
Centre console armrest with cupholders was broken
The roof lining was sagging
I will upload some images later but below is a list of where I am up to:
I managed with a friend to slowly pull back the roof lining, got some high-temperature spray adhesive, and managed to stick the roof lining into place.
Took a lot of patience but managed to pull the roof lining back to the point I needed to.
The roof lining stuck back looks a lot better than it did.
Whilst the roof lining was down installed a rear Dashcam.
Originally 6x9 Subwoofer was blown, and the Speaker Grill was all water-marked and rusty.
Finding an OEM Harmon Kardon subwoofer proved near on impossible, However I managed to find a DVC Harmon Kardon Subwoofer that is used in a R53 Mini and after a little persuasion got it to fit lovely.
Speaker Grille was sanded down and repainted Cream, Really pleased with the result.
Whilst the back seat was out gave it all a good clean on top of and underneath the sound matting.
Original armrest was damaged and cupholder was broken. The previous owner had given me a replacement armrest which had a Carphone Slot, I decided to fit a wireless charger into the opening to offer some convenience.
Installed a 12v Power socket inside the armrest, this powers the Wireless charging pad and the dashcams.(I have fused this under the ashtray for relatively easy access)
BT Mic installed ready for the new Headunit I will be installing.
Pioneer DAB Antenna installed
Front Dashcam installed too.
Aftermarket module installed which allows full use of the Amplifier. I will be installing a Single Din Pioneer CD/BT/DAB+ Head Unit with Apple and Android Connectivity which can be fully controlled from an App of a Smart Phone.
Boot looking as it should all neat and tidy and the Harmon Kardon amp is mounted in the Factory location.

Hello All,
New to this Forum, Just a brief introduction and I will add to this thread in the very near 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 future. Only ever had two Jag's in my family of the years, my dad used to own a XJ40 Sovereign 3.6 1988 model and now I have just bought a 1994 Daimler Six 4.0 SWB in Kingfisher Blue

Couple more Interior shots now that the centre console is back together.
Pioneer Cd/Radio/DAB+/USB/Android/Apple Stereo installed complete with an interface to link into the Factory Harmon Kardon Amplifier - Sounds mega considering the speaker are best part of 30 years old. The Stereo can also be controlled fully from an APP, as the Phone holder is mounted in the perfect place for ease of control when driving.
Wireless charging phone holder that is motorsied to open and close allowing ease of putting the phone in the mount. Also wireless charging pad in centre armrest for passenger phone.
