Hi everybody,
new to forum and new to the Jag game, i have a 1999 S-Type Beige. 72k on the clock.
I am a toolmaker by trade, first job was to make a new locking wheel nut adaptor, the old one had sheared. When shifting the gear lever to reverse, the gearbox snatches (not all the time.) Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. All forward gears are fine .The car has FSH and I don't know if the oil has been changed.
Thanks in advance, Brian

Hey Brian, welcome aboard, good to have you here as part of the forum
share some pics of your S type please!! Great ride. There is some excellent info on DIY repairs and cheap fixes to common issues in the S type section. Do yourself a favour and really read through the S type quick FAQ link thread if you haven't done so already......
Loads going on, plenty of very friendly and helpful members as well as some excellent tech advice......all good!
In the meantime I've manually upgraded you to full forum access so you can better view the site
