Hi All
I bought this used Jaguar S-Type R thinking it was a deal. As it turns out it was a slow nightmare.
Error codes that can't be cleared, rough ride and really disappointing purchase. Though the car looks fine, its ride is like a shopping cart, as well as the lack of 'public' information on a car that is almost 20 years old. Not intending to rant, it's a great disappointment.

Any tips on clearing CATS and DSC errors? Also note, there is no Jaguar dealer within 50+ miles (80km) in this rural area.
If it cannot be resolved, I'll have to cut my losses and sell it.

From the Lowcountry of SC - welcome to the forum. Rather than a dealer - I'd be looking for a local indie that specializes in Jaguars.

Hello,
I'm sorry your new Jaguar has been such a disappointment. I hope you get all those things fixed, or at least enough of them so you can actually drive the car!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome.

OOPS.

Some PO's alter things to their liking, not always to best path, and then move the beast on.

The S Type people will know, of that I am certain.

Good luck.
