Hello fellow Jag enthusiasts. I own a 1969 FHC that I have taken down to bear metal for restoration...it's slow going. In the mean time I just recovered my 1975 XJC 4.2, that has been in my family since new, from a restoration shop that rebuilt the suspensions, etc., etc., 'til I'm now "defunded". The XJC is now running but the headliner is sagging and needs to be replaced; no big deal. The bigger problem unfortunately is trying to figure out why the blinkers (flashers if you prefer) no longer work. So my friends, my weekends are usually spent playing with kitty cats, as my wife calls it. A labor of love (and frustration sometimes). My goal is to have the XJC fully roadworthy in a few weeks and the FHC on the road by the end of next Summer...or maybe the following Summer.

Welcome Joe.

That XJC was a stroke of luck, and good on ya.

The flashers on the S2 going AWOL is "usually" related to that rather inept hazard switch on the steering column. The normal flasher circuit passes thru it for some British reason.

Welcome to the forum Joe,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link US Northeast - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
