I've been a big fan of this forum for years. Admittedly, I visited the forum more when I owned my 1992 xj6 than I do now, currently owning a 1997 xj6; the 1997 xj6 has given me very little trouble over the years. I'm in the beginning phases of my turbo install; fabricating turbo exhaust manifold, fabricating harness adapter for the AEM FI/C-6 piggy back controller and joining the Jaguar Forums for support and technical "hand holding" as I navigate the turbo project. I know the engine's static compression ratio of 10:1 makes it not the perfect candidate for turbo charging but I think it doable at 6-8lbs of boost; adding just an additional 75-100hp @ 4500rpm. This just an intro post and I'll be sure to post in the correct forum category when I begin the project earnest.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
