Hello, I just joined the forum, but am an experienced E-Type owner, in that I bought new and still drive the 73 Ser 3 convertible, delivered at the Leyland Center on Acton Road in London in March 1973. I drove it back to Frankfurt where it was my daily driver, Autobahn stormer, and Hockenheim commuter, plus Carrera terrorizer (on the straights!) until I shipped it back to the states. Resisted selling it, though needed the money a number of times, and still do mountain trips in TN., NC.& VA. Lightweight flywheel, otherwise all original, and still pulls like a train. JD has taken care of it for 40 plus years in Nashville.
Love and own Jaguar, Aston, old Land Rover, and old BMW S38 cars.
Latest Jag project is a Rob Beere power steering rack adjuster. Looking forward to installing it to reduce the PS over boost. Thanks

Welcome to the forums Mags44,

There can't be many E-Types still with their original owner. I had one at the same time but it went long ago.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/e-type-xk-e-59/ to the E-Type forum. You can also use the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
