I just bought a 1976 XJ6C v6 from Michigan. I have not recieved it yet because of weather, but will be restoring it and will be looking for some info/help. This is my first Jaguar and am very excited!

I am a chef and I also am in Texas Rovers (Land Rover club)with my '02 Rangie out of Dallas. I live in Tyler.

Welcome Brian. Good taste in vehicles you have there. I think you might discover that the engine is a straight 6, but the XJ6C is most certainly a rare beastie. Look forward to the pics and restoration updates.

Welcome from another Texan Brian! I drive my XK to tyler from time to time, got a client in The Villages Resort over on Lake Palestine, and Lake o' the Woods nearby.

Good luck with the project!

Thanks Y'all! I see a Texas Tech fan here. Grew up in Lubbock and still have season tickets to Football, but I am not sure this year from what happened with Mike. Gerald Myers has to go!

Howdy Brian. I make the trip over to East Texas about 4-5 times a year. My wife Loves Tyler when the roses are bloomin' so we hit it every year. Also, my Cobra club does some runs in the area but the Jag is pure stealth. You should have seen the guys faces when the Jag beat them in the 1/8th mile brackets. Have fun.
