New member, thanks to well-placed intervention!
Happy to be joining the league of Jag owners, and joining this forum as well. If I had known how much joy I'd get out of driving this machine, I would have tried to do this a LOT sooner!
I'm the proud owner of an '07 XKR in Lunar Grey, purchased from an owner who was as careful with it as I'll be.
The quick story on intervention... For years, I had planned to buy a sport coupe as soon as I handed my sport sedan to my driving-age daughters. After years of having my heart set on getting a 650i, followed by months of looking for the right one, two colleagues from work came in and said "if you're looking at an '08 650i, you should take a serious look at the Jaguar X-Series." The rest is history. I would NOT have been nearly as happy with the BMW. It's a fine car, but this ride is pure joy, as most of you know -- a joy to walk up to and a joy to drive.
