New Member in UK
Hello everyone I live in the southwest area of the UK.
This time last year I lost my beloved Mercedes C class sport due to a flash flood in my road, it was a sad day as I'd had her for over 9 years and she never let me down.
I didn't bother with a car for about 6 months as I had the use of 2 others but in June this year I saw a 3.2L XJ V8 executive (MY 2000) and bought it. I'm very impressed with the vehicle and I'm currently trying to fix a couple of little faults with it, nothing serious though but expect lots of questions!
Anyway it's good to be here and I must extend my thanks to JimC64 and cadillac for helping me with the glitches of actually being able to post.

Hi there scousetechie n welcome to the site...good to have you with us.
Sorry bout the probs initially experienced with posting....We've had our fair share of problems with spammers and have been trying various ways to keep them at bay for the sake of all.
Its a great site with some top members / techs, plenty of good info and fun to be had.
Hope you enjoy
Presumably you're gonna post up some pics of your baby at some point????....lol

Hi Jim
I can understand the spam issue. I am a member of another forum in the UK which is about broadband issues etc. On that site we have a "Talk to the Staff" section and all the members report spam on there so that Mods/Admins can deal with it. Works well and quickly. The site is http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/ maybe worth a look.
Just a suggestion.
