Purchased a '73 E-type convertible 2 years ago, finally have it running decently. It sat in the 2nd owners garage for many years, so needed a lot of work - mainly, anything that had fluids (wheel, master, slave cylinders, etc) Luckily, there is an ace mechanic up here that worked in a British Leyland dealership back in the 70's. Still original paint, 33k on odometer. Will try and figure out how to post a pic. Dana, in South Range WI

And a manual transmission (I heard that there are fewer of these). Frankly, my '76 TR6 is easier to get into - and out of. And it is certainly easier to work on. But the Jag e-type is one of the prettiest automobiles of all time. (I'm partial to the Hudson step-downs, and the old Terraplanes, too)
