Hi,

I am a new member with an X308 1998 XJR in blue with cream leather. I'm Irish but based in Germany. I looked for quite some time to find the perfect colour combination, and eventually bought a 98 XJR in Italy. Drove it 2000km back to Germany the weekend I got it
It's my first Jag and my everyday car.
I can do a little bit of spanner work, my other car is a Westfield for playing with, so I'm used to English cars.
So far I've had the secondary tensioners replaced and both head gaskets.

I have a few questions but I will post those in the appropriate forum.

So far I have done about 4000km and I still love the car.
I'm really impressed with this forum, very helpful and knowledgable people.

Expect a few questions from me in the x308 forum soon. I'll update my signature as soon as I am back on the proper computer.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Yes - go ahead and post your tech question(s) straightaway.

There's a few restrictions on newbies (can't use the forum Private Messages or download PDF's stored on the forum servers until a minimum of 10 Posts AND 3 Days membership - both must be achieved) but this doesn't stop you posting question and getting answers.
