Welcome to the forum Steve,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome.

Parts for Jags are out there. I can still get heaps for the mighty MK10, but, as you say, not from Jaguar, so be it.

In the UK, contact the suppliers that support this forum.

Put those part numbers in "Google" and see what pops up, saved me heaps recently on 2 heater taps for the S Types.

Default New to the forum, XK8

Purchased a 1999 XK8 with a broken front cross member. The car had no body damage but it was sad to see the right side front wheel slop around. Had a hell of time getting it on the trailer LOL. Sourced a used unit from a group in California along with the other parts I needed, used, and proceed to rebuild the front end. Now runs like a charm. Get looks every where I go in small town Oklahoma. Have a number of vintage vehicles but plan to use this as my main ride.

The question I have and I will have many; The car is as I understand the color is copper with gold fleck with a ghost Jaguar head on the hood with a side pin strip of jaguar spots down the side. Was the this a color option offered by Jaguar or custom? If a Jaguar color does any one knowwhere I can get the color code?
