New Member - XKR 2004 , Levin - New Zealand
Hi everyone, I'm the proud new owner of an 04 XKR 4.2. It's been imported from Japan so my navigation is in Japanese. 1 issue I need to address.
I live in a small town called Levin in New Zealand.
I've just turned 50. This may have been a mid-life crisis purchase in fact but shhhh don't tell anyone! Only live once right

Previous Jag was a 79 XJS owned about 20 yrs ago. I have since missed everything about how a Jag feels to drive, the smooth ride, handling and performance, I recently found what I thought was a pretty good deal here in NZ on a modernish XKR.
It's a little quicker than my old XJS...who am I kidding this thing is a rocket and I LOVE it!!!
It has some issues like most others and for this reason I have joined this site. None seem too major but I will take each step slowly.
I need help in more ways than one but having been a non-member for a while I have still gained much valuable information from reading the posts of others.
I hope my experiences might help others and hope to gain more knowledge from this site so I can keep my investment in tip top shape for many years to come.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
