In a moment of madness I bought a 2009 XF-R a few weeks ago as a project!
95k miles. 10 previous owners.
No service history, apart from £7000 spent in 2023 on injectors, coil packs, gearbox service, supercharger repairs, and much more.
I've been told the rest of the history is on it's way to me in the post.
It appears to be a bit unloved, although it drives really well.
This is my first Jag, so I'm learning all the time.
So far, I've had all the wheels refurbished, new centre caps and bolts,
New exhaust tips fitted, as the Spires ones were not in the best condition.
Swapped the mirror covers for genuine chrome ones. I considered dechroming, but I'm going the other way!
Restored the boot-lid to near as OEM as I can.
New gear selector.
Really, really enjoying it so far.

Hello, Clivie,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
15 years old,10 previous owners and only 95k miles, just now well broken in and loosened up.
Poor thing must have a complex by now, but all your care and attention (not to mention the new bling) will go a long way in resolving that..
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
