Default A new old member wants to say Hello!

Hello all! It has been some time since I was on this site, and at that time, I was in the midst of restoring a 1965 E-type OTS, and that was in 1981. Three cars later, and now I am without on once again. But, have a 2001 XK8, a 1992 XJS and a 1973 XJ6. I have had 3 Aston Martins; a DB5 and two DB6's. Got into Datsun Zcars for a long while, and after about 30 of them, I moved on. Newest toy is a Honda S-2000, and that one will bring back the good old days! I wanted a Boxster for years, and bought one last year. Nope, not my style, and it made another guy very happy who bought it. The a BMW Z4 convert, red and black guts, 6 speed. Nope, not my style. That went to a retired lady schoolteacher. I am currently dickering on a 69 2+2 that needs everything. Yes, An E-type; what else?

Welcome again Ron,

Thank you for replying to my question (see post #4) in your original Intro of December 2019:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-drive-226495/

Any particular reason for suddenly returning today and making 9 posts, three of which were in very old threads not related to a 2001 XK8, a 1992 XJS or a 1973 XJ6?

Graham

Default Hoping You Get the E-Type

Welcome back, Ron.

I also have not been on the forum in quite a while but your post got my attention. I am a happy owner of a near concours condition 1969 E-Type roadster. It has been great to get it into the shape its in now so I hope that, as a very seasoned car guy, you will soon have that opportunity!

Cheers
