New owner 1996 xj6 and a 1998 xj8!!
I am a 52 year old single mom who purchased a 1996 xj6 she ran beautifully until .my son hit a stone wall-yes he is fine but Jag hasn't been same. I just purchased two 1998 xj8's one just for parts(bad trans) and well now have n3 jaguars but not 1 is actually running!!! HELLO EVERYONE !! I am a you tube mechanic lol and have successfully put in 1.radiator 2. water pump and 3. crankshaft position sensor,my car will crank but will not kick over-- well I did get to kick over and ran for about 10 mins but engine was shaking shaking violently !!. I hope some experienced Jag owner can help me-I believe it will start if I pull piston number 1 and disconnect battery and cam shaft sensor and plug back in--which as soon as all rain here in PHILADELPHIA PA stops I intend to try this next!!!!
