Hi guys, picked up a new-to-me 2002 X-type 2.5 manual last night. 70,000 miles. I love the heck out of driving this car.

I have a Jeep Wrangler as a second car, and I had a '98 Ford Taurus that was a daily driver, had it for 10 years and put 400,000+ miles on it before an accident. I like to do a lot of my own maintenance and work on my car. I find it relaxing and satisfying. Worked at a couple auto places in college but haven't worked on a jaguar before. I have posts on the ford Taurus forum and the jeep wrangler forum, and the Kawasaki Vulcan 750 forum, under this same username, including some write ups on basic mechanical work.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I've been driving a lot for pleasure the last two days since I got my jaguar. It's a lot of fun, the way driving is supposed to be.
