New owner of a 99 XJ8
New owner/member from SE Iowa.
Any Jaguar mechanics near Burlington?
My neighbor retired, sold his Jag, and moved to FL.
I felt bad. I never got a chance to test drive it. Never asked how much he would sell it.
A little over a month after he left. I saw a Jag in a local dealer.
To cut the story short, I was able to buy his Jaguar at a price lower than what he sold it for.
Now I just need to give it more love than what my neighbor gave it.
Check engine light came on today.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
