New owner checking in
I just took delivery of a new 2012 XJL SC with the Sport and Speed Pack in Polaris White. This car sure does have a presence with this combo. IMO it looks larger than the car in darker exterior colors. The performance and handling are similar to the XKR I traded but with actual useable rear seats...lol...while driving the car it does not feel as large as it actually is.

As far as handling, the XJL is definitely better handler than my '08XK. Better, more accurate steering and a whole lot less under-steer and much less body lean in the corners. It does drive as a much smaller car on my home turf, which is made up of narrow, winding, hilly country roads. I can place the XJL with more confidence and accuracy in those tight roads than the XK. I also enjoy many of the added features my '08 XK does not have (cooled seats, adaptable lights, sun roof, voice control, dynamic mode etc)
Getting about the same highway mileage (27+) as I was getting with the XK.
Good luck with your XJL.
Albert

Welcome to this friendly Forum. I've moved your intro to the 'New Members' section so we can all say 'Hello'.
You've already found the XJL section for your car and put your details in your signature so all I can offer is your Regional section here

Welcome an other cross-forum member. Congrats on the car. I agree that the Polaris White really looks large. That was my first choice too but, my wife vetoed it and we settled for a Cashmere.
