new owner of an old jag

My first memory of a Jag was when I was 14 and saw a Britich racing green XKE. The coolest car ever! Remember at that moment I would own one some day.
A month ago I purchased a XJ8 (an 04) with north of 150k on the ticker. Light blue with plenty of attitude from the engine! So it's not the XKE but perhaps some day??? My lovely wife drives a Ford Freestyle (AWD).. The jaguar is the first car she has sat in with the declaration that the front seat was the most comfortable she has sat in ever! Looking forward to long trips and time with my sweetie

It's about time that I post. I have spent numerous hours enjoying and researching my new/old auto I will be attaining. I have decided on a facelift XJS
4.0. I have owned a number of British cars. A good friend was employed at Iskip motors in NYC in the 1960's, which gave me a great selection of British rides... Morris minor, MGB, MGA, XKE, MINI COOPER, ETC..
I hope I can locate a low milage XJS and support my fellow members when I able.
