Hello all,
Just bought a new left over 10 XF Premium. Cashmere Gold. No other options. Still figuring out the features!

Glad to be here!

Thanks for the welcomes!
Looking forward to getting all sorts of information from all you veteran Jaguar owners. I can already tell the oil change is going to be lots of fun!

Just a reminder , don't change the oil by yourself , it will void the warranty

Not trying to start a contest but I believe this statement is not accurate.
In addition to several laws in the US which prohibit this (Magnuson-Moss I think) the Passport to Service manual included with my vehicle has this quote on page 16:
"The vehicle owner may also perform the maintenance; however, he may be required to show that the proper parts were used and that he was able to perform the maintenance correctly."
The dealer I purchased from gave me some oil filters to use and the shop foreman went over how to perform the maintenance.
YMMV,
Paul

Hey no problem it was just heads up ,it seems you already did the deal
I recently read an article about Arden kit causing problems with the warranty despite the owner's correct negotiations with the service department .

Thanks!
I agree that anything that performs a modification to your vehicle is subject to the manufacturer saying your vehicle warranty is void. I think that happens frequently (exhausts, intakes, chips, etc). It would be up to you to prove otherwise.
I think on normal maintenance, as long as you keep reciepts you should be good! I have always done my own maintenance on all my vehicles and never had a warranty claim denied. Again YMMV!

Paul
