New S-Type Memeber

So, relatively new Jaguar owner, and new member, but not new to this site. I currently reside in South Florida. Ever since purchasing my vehicle, this site has been a god-send numerous times over. Makes me wonder(and quite often now-a-days) why I didn't join sooner, but here I am.
I reached a certain point a few years back that I since I could no longer afford to buy new vehicles, I would instead buy vehicles that I've always wished to own. The S-Type was close to the top on that list.
After months of exhaustive research, I decided to take the plunge. Luckily, I found a 2001 with a strong motor. Unfortunately, I've already run into quite a few of the usual issues, but as I've previously owned a Saab, i've learned not to cringe every time something goes wrong, LOL, and look for the "enthusiasts" online. Alas, Jaguar Forums.
I look forward to not only picking your brains, but also taking on repairs and maintenance projects, and attempting to document the jobs as I go. Maybe some day, I can be as useful as some of you are around here, and help someone save LITERALLY thousands of dollars like this site has already saved me in the 5 years that I've owned my vehicle.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum tito.period,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the model forum but if not, follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 ( X200 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-lower-atlantic-nc-sc-fl-ga-66/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
