Default New to this site!

I just joined after purchasing my first Jaguar, 1999 XJ8 with 108K on it. After doing many searches about the timing issue I bought it with they all lead( or a t least point) back to this forum and the good information available. Hopefully the things I do I'll also be able to give some info back, it seems no vehicle I own stays bone stock!

Welcome to the forum bms6989,

I often think you might as well buy an early V8 already with the timing issue because you'd have to attend to it anyway!

Sounds like you've already found the X308 section to research the issue.

Hope you soon get the XKR running sweetly then you can start on the upgrades.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum!
Very nice looking Jag. Please don't tell anyone what you paid for it, lol! Ask them to guess, I bet you will get a lot of answers in the 10K+ range.
You will find a lot of friendly and helpful folks around here.
