New STR Owner here
I just picked up my 2003 S-type R from Crown Jag/Benz in St. Petersburg. It was a 1200 mile drive home overnight, but it was a kickass ride home! Peter McDonald at Crown made the experience painless, buying a jag out of state is intimidating ain't it. I knew it was going to be different owning a Jaguar when the dealership picked me up at the airport and had the paperwork rdy for me to sign when I got there.
I never knew Jaguar made R-cars, they don't advertise them at all. I was turned on to the STR in June by a relative and fell in love after the first test drive. I looked around for over a month, when I found my car online in St. Pete's in Fla., I grabbed it fast. I ended up getting a loaded, every option 2003R with 20,235miles and the upgraded warranty to 2011(100k) for 34k. I am extremely happy with this car, the warranty is incredible and my silver str looks hawt in my drive way

Sounds like a great car, you should definatly put some pics in the photo gallery section.
Buying a jaguar is ona the best experiences.
Most car companies hardly advertise there suped up models, you just are supposed to figure out. Like BMW doesn't advertisse M, Mercesdes doesn't advertise AMG, Audi doesnt advertise S, Honda doesn't advertise Si (even tho honda's all suck).
The best way to advertise is for affordability and what not, advertising for power would be bad advertising because only a small percentage of people can even afford R type jags. I'm outta that percentage, lol.
