Greetings, Name is Rusty and I live in Spring Texas. Just picked up a 2002 S-Type V6 from an auction. Someone tried to Ghettofy it and painted the original alloy rims with black bed liner paint and painted the grill, the license plate frame and the tail lights (red section) black. Uggghhh... it was horrible. The interior is in pretty rough shape and they trashed the center console trying to figure out the broken shifter thing.
Anyway, I am bringing her back from the dark side and have lots of things to do. Most of it I can readily figured out, but I know I will be looking here for my model specific issues.
As for me, I have a few cars and enjoy working on them. Currently I have '46 Chevy 1/2 ton that I got for my 16th birthday in 1978, an Austin Healey Sprite that has a 350 shoved in it, an '82 DeLorean, a 2009 Hummer H3T Truck (the most rare vehicle I have), an '83 model Jaguar SS-100 Kit Car that my son I completed the build when he turned 16 5 years ago. My son is still with me as he attends college and he has Nisan 300ZX Turbo and a '08 Altima V6 so I have passed the car gene down to him.
Semi Retired and own a family oriented Video Game Pinball arcade in The Woodlands/Spring Texas area.
Well, that's enough for now. When I get full access I'll post up some photos of my collection.
See ya'll around the forums!

Welcome fellow Texan. Glad to hear you're rescuing an S-type from the ghetto. I see a lot of otherwise cool cars treated to flat black primer, jacked up to fit 22" rent-a-rims (often riding on mismatched junkyard wheels with 5" of fender gap after they missed a few payments), fake Buick ventiports on the fenders, etc. Makes me cringe every time.
