Hi all, I'm Ron and I live in Kent in the South East of the UK. After many years of Mercedes ownership (and I can't fault them, they were always reliable, relatively cheap to maintain as I only ever had normal services and replacement of wearing parts. I tend to buy older, but well maintained cars, I find most of the bugs have been sorted out by then, and check them carefully before parting with the cash!), I needed a change, my wife has a bad back and was finding it difficult to get in and out of my ML350 so a saloon was in order. After much research, the Jag S-Type was top of the list and after checking the market, ended up with a high mileage 4.2 in pristine condition. It's fast, probably the most comfortable car I have ever owned, very smooth and sure footed on the road, and so far I am very impressed.
