New US Member - Dark Safire Metallic
All - Registered with the forum last week as soon as I ordered the car. I got a new 2016 Jag XJL Supercharged. The color combo is Dark Safire Metallic and London Tan interior. Took delivery during the weekend. I am in the Washington DC Metro area. My previous car was 2007 Lexus LS 460 L.
In the ordering system, the car came up with Loire Blue as exterior color and I was little worried if it is the correct blue. When it arrived it did say Dark Safire Metallic. Also when I took delivery, the driver side door did not have the soft close, but thanks to the forum, I was able to connect those wires in fuse box and get it to work.

I'm not surprisd you were unsure about the colour description from your dealer. Can't imagine why JLR would choose Loire Blue as a body colour name - a French river which is inevitably muddy brown! Dark Sapphire is far more sensible and your XJ looks superb.
I know you've already found your way to the X351 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I had to attach wires in the fuse box to get the soft door close on the driver side door. It was a dealer prep issue, which they missed.
