New from Virginia
Hello everyone! Well, I finally got all my personal info entered, photos loaded and even one question answered.
What a great site! As I mentioned, I even have one of several questions already answered.....I'll post the others in the proper sections later.
Two Jags and one Austin-Healy in my stable. I've had the '64 Series I E-type for 7 years and the '08 XK convertible for a little over a week. Both are great but of course, quite different. The E-type is a nice "driver", the Healey is a Concours "trailer queen", I'm not quite sure what the XK will be.
See you later,
Jeff

Yes I was! I guess that was were I completely "caught the bug". Thanks for allowing me to sit in your car.
I started looking everywhere for a XK8 and realized I liked the later XK better. We spent 3 days in the D.C. area looking at XK's and decided on a 2008 XK Conv. in Indigo metallic with 14,000 miles. We love it!
Only one problem....a noisy in-dash aspirator motor. Hope to get it replaced this week.
Thanks for the info. about Jags at the show.
By the way, our '64 Series I E-type won first in class, what a surprise!
This is only my 3rd. day on the forum so I'm still learning the ropes.
Have a great day,
Jeff

Hi Jeff and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started but we have a 10 post minimum. Once that is satisfied you will be given an opportunity to post photos and see other links. Please be patient and enjoy the site. I am not sure I like you! I always wanted an Austin Healy, came close in getting one about 15 – 20 years ago. I was concerned because most of it was in boxes and I kept looking back as I was walking away. I think I hate you!!
PS Please enjoy the forum!

Hi Gus:
Thanks for the welcome. You ought to look for an Austin-Healey. They are great cars and I enjoy both Jags and Healey's equally.

Hey Jeff-
I thought it might have been you! Congrats on the well desreved E-type win, and also on your new cat ! I was pretty convinced that you were smitten by the XK's that day .
FYI, its a bit of a drive for you, but if you can make it, there is a mid-Atlantic get together being planned (but not finalized yet) for mid-December in Fredericksburg. Follow this thread for updates....
