New X-Type 2.5 owner
Hi to all,
My name is Mat and I recently purchased a 2005 X-Type 2.5L w/ manual trans. Great car with only 38,000 miles. This is my first jaguar and extremely pleased with my purchase.
Some background info:
I work for my fathers independent shop that handles all makes and models. My father was a bmw, Porsche, Audi Sterling (ha) and most of all a Land Rover tech, for a dealer in the Chicago area for 30+ years. So hopefully his knowledge and the help of this forum will keep me above water with my X-Type.
I know a decent amount about most cars and hopefully can make good contributions to those in need here.

Welcome to the forum Mat,
Good to have you here with us at Jaguar Forums.
Follow Steve's link to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
