New X type Owner
Hey everyone just wanted to check in here! I've had my 2004 Black X type sport 3.0 manual for about 2 weeks now. It replaced my G37 sport! I love the X, it has 91k on the clock and I picked it up for 5500$. Great condition, few small scratches, perfect leather. Clutch engages pretty high, but feels good! Changed oil, next is transfer case oil, serpentine belt and pulley/ tensioner as it is making a subtle squeaking at all engine speeds. My E-brake is completely out, and the two front doors have intermittent issues with opening, easy fixes. Definitely a wonderful car and underrated. I have had an A4, and A6 previously as well as an Infiniti M45 and it drives quite different from each of them. I had been lurking for years reading about x types on the forums and decided the TC issues were not going to prevent me from owning one. Look forward to contributing to the forums!

Welcome to the forum Mugatu,
A bit of a 'to-do' list but nothing too seriously $$.
It sounds like you probably already know your way around here but if not, follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northwest Region section by following this link Northwest - Washington/Oregon/Idaho & SW Canadians - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the X-Type and the forum.
