I bought an XF AWD late last year, so I've had a few months with the car already and I'm loving it. My Dad has had Jags as long as I can remember, he bought a Series 1.5 E-Type OTS back in the '70s, which was the car I learned to drive stick on, and he still has to this day.
I decided on an XF based on his owning an X-Type, which isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Yeah it's basically a re-badged Mondeo, but it does have that undefinable "special" quality. It's certainly not a 3 Series rival, but in how it rides, and how comfortable it is, the X-Type is a fine car. Anyway, I wanted something a little more modern with all the modern gadgets, and I really like the looks of the XF, I wanted AWD since it's my daily driver and I take it up to the mountains to go skiing.
I can see you've already found your way to the X250 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
