Default New xfr owner but with a bad start to ownership :(

Hello folks

Well on my birthday (29th January) I picked up my 59 plate liquid silver XFR and its been a pleasure until today. I must say it is not the cars fault.

Its the bloomin wifes, I left for work yesterday and she has managed to hit a van already resulting in me needing a new bumper, nearside headlight and nearside wing.

She had driven it 200 yards from the house, as you can imagine im grateful she is unhurt along with the van driver but I can also state she is lucky I am overseas working and cant squeeze her neck ha ha.

I have sourced parts from breakers already and just need to get the parts painted.

As im using my works laptop I cant upload photos unfortunately at the moment of when I picked it up.

Not looking so great now and I have the cctv footage which I keep watching over and over

Anyways that's all I have for now.

P.S if anyone knows a trustworthy good spray painter in the aberdeenshire area near fraserburgh im all ears

Thanks

Welcome to the forum Steve,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Ouch! Good to hear there were no injuries. Unfortunately cars that are designed to progressively crumple to protect the occupants can look dreadful after even a minor impact.

Follow this link XF and XFR ( X250 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X250 forum for help, advice and information.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region. This is the place to ask for recommendations for Aberdeenshire spray painter.s

Enjoy the forums.
