Default New XJR owner here, greetings!

Just picked up a 2004 XJR, 470 mile round trip. One owner car, 99K miles with dealer-maintained records. My last vehicle was a 1998 Corvette. Definitely a departure from that car. I got a great deal on her but I will need to address 2 things which I already knew going into it.

First is a tire balancing issue. Seems that the dealer over the cars life balance & rotated at least 6 times even replacing a tire or 2. Here's the thing, they are Perelli P Zeros and I've heard these were troublesome to keep balanced. Should I just replace all 4? Any recommendations?

Second, brakes are toast. There is a vibration when braking and almost a scraping noise. Sounds like the pads were worn down to damage the rotor. This isn't too bad to fix as I do most all mechanical stuff myself. Again recommendations on rotors/pads.

I'm assuming the plugs are original and want to do a tune-up today. I hear the iridiums are the way to go. ??

So, anyway VERY happy with the car and will do heavy research on this site to learn the quirks/issues with these cats.

Thanks all!!

Changed the plugs, 3 hours. A daunting task but we'll worth it!
